May: Homelessness, month 1

1 May 2019

The Lioness, having consumed the dragon, became the dragon. She blew fire and smoke; she manifested fire from her belly through her heart, her throat, her eye, the strands of her hair. She huffed and she puffed and she burned the house down. She laid down tired, in the soot and charcoal.

Now emerging carefree child; a woman. A dancing princess, fairy wings and a tambourine, shoeless in the forest. Hair unkempt, dirty nails, dirty smile. Ready to get fucked up again.

The wise child pays homage to the path she traveled. The Camel, the Lioness, the Dragon. All she took in, all she lived up to, all she consumed and made part of her body, all she discharged. All adds up to the superpowers she now houses. She constructs her home.

Her father is Jupiter, her mother is Saturn. She is rendered, raised in the war of their love. Her home is suspended by a line of tension between chaos and stability. She’s a fascinating creature and everyone has an opinion. She doesn’t speak their language; she dances her home clean.

When she’s hungry she stalks her prey with noble intentions. She knows she’s just another thing on this planet for now, borrowing flesh and blood for her consciousness to breathe. She knows she must feed it, though she has weighed the costs.

The fire burns inside of her to attack something. She sniffs opportunity in the wind. She stalks her prey, not distracted by small game on the side. Irritating birds flying from that direction, talking shit. She moves in on her target. A Dragon named Thou-Shalt. She eats all the commandments and shits out which ones will not nourish her.

The commandments she keeps sacred become absorbed in her flesh. She doesn’t think about it. Carefree, wild woman. She’s going to do it again. Stay alive.

For a long time she strived to survive. Now she thrives in her wild. Broken clothes and hair, swinging through branches and roots of the world she lives. Her goal now is to flourish. She notices Nature working, expanding in her. Like she sees planets, stars and solar systems in her reflection.

29 May 2019

Today is full of visiting folks. Taking a break from fixing things to say hello to family on the other side of town.

Maintaining good cheer and vibes. That’s a lot of work for me.

I can’t wait to be near water regularly. I can’t wait to be a person who daily or weekly finds themselves healthier because of their relationship to the water. Maybe then the cheer and the vibes won’t be work.
